UPMC Horizon - Shenango Valley in Farrell, PA is hiring a Flex Full-Time MRI Technologist to join the Imaging Team. This role primarily involves days shifts with rotating weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities. The position supports both UPMC Horizon-Shenango Valley and UPMC Horizon-Greenville.

• Maintains clinical competencies for MRI exams and equipment.
• Communicates clearly with patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical competencies for all exams and equipment.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers and applies universal protocol.
• Reads and presents relevant information to physicians prior to exams.
• Ensures coding, RIS entries, and ISITE archiving are accurate.
• Maintains MR safety in the department.
• Interacts with patients and coworkers with professionalism.
• Processes and archives exam data.
