Job summary

Allina Health invites an MRI Technologist to join AHG Lakeville Specialty Imaging. The role focuses on performing MRI procedures, coordinating with radiologists, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the scan.

The ideal candidate will hold graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and preferably ARRT MRI certification upon hire, with proficiency in Excellian EMR and PACS systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology (Vocational or technical training).
• ARRT MRI certification preferred on hire; current ARRT required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures under radiologist direction, delivering timely, quality services.
• Follows department policies to maintain a safe, efficient environment.
• Interacts with patients to welcome, explain, and respond to questions during procedures.
• Ensures documentation is complete and imaging transfers to storage/retrieval systems.
• Maintains knowledge of imaging equipment and adheres to safety standards.
• Communicates with supervisor and team about problems or ideas.
