RAYUS Radiology in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and deliver high-quality images for diagnosis. You will work with a patient-centered approach, ensuring safety and comfort while following professional standards.

The role requires AMA-approved radiography training, ARRT/ARMRIT certification, state licensure if applicable, CPR, and the ability to perform MRI independently. Join a team committed to clinical excellence and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam to ensure safety and correct patient identification.
• Explains MRI procedures and positions patients for scans.
• Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjusts MRI scan parameters and adheres to safety regulations.
• Maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Keeps workspace clean and equipment sanitized, promoting safety.
• Maintains MRI equipment and compliance with accreditation requirements.
