Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Must hold unrestricted NYS licensure with ARRT certification.
• Must have ARRT MRI certification or willingness to complete within 1 year of hire.
• Maintain ARRT certification with ongoing CE credits.
• Experience in medical imaging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Corroborate patient history with the procedure for licensed practitioners.
• Prepare patient for the procedure with instructions and education.
• Operate the magnetic resonance system and related equipment.
• Maintain professionalism and patient-centered communication at all times.
• Recognize conditions essential for successful exam completion.
