Job summary

MO-SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, MO, seeks an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic medical imaging by magnetic resonance, including Cardiac MRI and Interoperative MRI, under the direction of Radiologists, Directors and Managers.

Responsibilities include MR safety screening, producing high-quality images, and accurate documentation in the EMR/HIS. The role requires adherence to safety, infection control, and Kronos time clock usage as part of daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs magnetic resonance imaging examinations.
• Maintains MR safety screening for 100% of patient/visitor/staff prior to entering MR room(s).
• Produces quality images in a consistent manner.
• Inputs and retrieves information from HIS/Radiology information system.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information and adheres to privacy standards.
• Follows hospital and radiology safety and infection control policies.
