The MRI Technologist I performs procedures following departmental protocols, operating MRI scanners and related equipment proficiently, including post-processing stations, IV contrast injectors, and patient monitoring devices.
Moderate to heavy physical effort, including lifting, standing, walking, and potential exposure to various physical conditions. Adherence to radiation safety guidelines is essential.
Graduate of an accredited radiologic or nuclear medicine program, with ARRT or NMTCB certification required within one year of hire. CPR certification is mandatory.
