Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking a Technologist Aide on a per diem basis to support tech staff across Cape locations, including Hyannis, Harwich, Sandwich, Yarmouth and Falmouth. The role focuses on assisting in patient setup, safety, and smooth exam flow in a fast-paced medical environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma, CPR certification, and strong interpersonal skills to help patients with mobility needs and to communicate procedures clearly.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
• Assist Technologist in setting up the room and equipment for exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and reassure anxious patients.
• Assist in checking paperwork and prior exams to ensure smooth workflow.
