Job summary

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA is seeking a Per diem MRI Technologist to join the Radiology team. The position requires performing high-quality MR imaging procedures during 10-hour day shifts under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Technologist.

This role focuses on producing diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and coordinating exams in accordance with Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or
• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT) is preferred.
• 1 year experience in MRI or a related imaging field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and evaluate images and related data to aid physicians in diagnosis.
• Operate MRI equipment and perform related clerical tasks as needed.
• Coordinate exams and comply with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards.
• Work under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Technologist.
