Job summary

MedBest Medical Management in Syracuse, NY, seeks an MRI Technologist for our Outpatient Radiology Department. Under supervision, you perform MRI exams, prepare patients, review screening forms, position patients, set up protocols, and administer IV contrast per NYS certification.

You will handle QA, image review, labeling, and use PACS/EPIC systems while adhering to SUNY policies and DVN guidelines. Equipment care and cleanliness are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Radiography or equivalent
• ARRT license and registration required
• ARRT MRI certification or eligible
• Two years experience as Medical Radiology Technologist
• CPR certification required
• Contrast injection certification required within 3 months

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams per established protocols
• Identify and screen patients for MRI safety
• Position patients and set up scans
• Administer IV contrast per certification
• QA procedures and image quality review
• Utilize PACS and EPIC for records and billing
• Follow SUNY policies and DVN guidelines
• Maintain MRI equipment and clean workspace
