Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT licensure required.
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Knowledge of general anatomy and cross-sectional anatomy.
• MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine MRI scans and assists radiologists in procedures.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains consent as needed.
• Positions patient and applies RF pads; maintains sterile technique.
• Documents patient history and procedures; provides patient care and education.
• Assists physicians in image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Performs quality control on equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Keeps patient, department and hospital records up to date.
