The Miriam Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate the MRI unit, calibrate equipment, and perform cross-sectional imaging under the supervision of the Medical Imaging Manager. You will collect patient data, assist Radiologists, and ensure safety and quality control across adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients.

Role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with teams, and ongoing education on MRI protocols. Location is The Miriam Hospital, Providence, RI.

Qualificações

• Registered MRI technologist with ARRT MRI certification.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI applications.
• Familiar with MRI safety and hospital protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and calibrates the MRI unit for daily operation.
• Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
• Screens patients and visitors prior to entry into the imaging area.
• Positions patients to obtain satisfactory examinations.
• Performs MRI image generation and QA for radiologist interpretation.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and assists in protocol development.
• Participates in clinical instruction and stays current with MRI advances.
