Job summary

You will collect patient data, assist Radiologists, and ensure safety and quality control across adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients.

Qualifications

• Registered MRI technologist with ARRT MRI certification.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI applications.
• Familiar with MRI safety and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and calibrates the MRI unit for daily operation.
• Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
• Screens patients and visitors prior to entry into the imaging area.
• Positions patients to obtain satisfactory examinations.
• Performs MRI image generation and QA for radiologist interpretation.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and assists in protocol development.
• Participates in clinical instruction and stays current with MRI advances.
