Job summary

Qualified candidates will have ARRT MR certification or eligibility, state licensure where applicable, and proven experience with MRI technology. The position offers benefits and open postings for 60 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification or eligibility required.
• Valid state license as an MRI Technologist, if applicable
• Proven experience operating MRI scanners and imaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care
• Clinical experience in hospital or outpatient imaging settings preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and diagnostic standards
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring safety and image quality
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and answering questions to ensure comfort
• Monitor patients during scans and respond to their needs and concerns
• Adhere to all safety protocols including screening for potential contraindications
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and support staff for seamless imaging services
• Complete accurate documentation and assist with maintaining patient records
