Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to support high-quality diagnostic imaging services that directly impact patient care. This role requires proficiency in MRI procedures, strong safety practices, and collaboration with radiologists and care teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a JRCERT-accredited education, CMRT/ARRT-MR credentials (within 60 days), and a commitment to safety, learning, and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program required.
• CMRT and ARRT-MR certification within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Licensure to independently perform MRI procedures in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures as prescribed, including routine and on-call imaging.
• Coordinate with radiologists, clinicians, and staff to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Maintain strict MRI safety practices and patient privacy.
• Document procedures and ensure accurate data entry into imaging systems.
• Provide training and mentorship to students and staff.
