Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic MRI images and collaborate with physicians to optimize sequences, while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT within 9 months, BLS within 60 days, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of an accredited radiography or MRI program. The posted rate is minimum $44.30 per hour with comprehensive benefits and on-site responsibilities in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certificate or degree from an accredited radiography or MRI program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office and Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Review patient chart/physician order to determine imaging parameters.
• Select imaging coil and perform MRI scans per protocol.
• Collaborate with physicians to optimize MRI sequences.
• Administer contrast media per department protocol.
• Ensure patient safety and MRI safety compliance.
• Document data in EMR/PACS and other systems.
