Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will produce high‑quality MRI images, review orders, and optimize sequences in collaboration with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.

The role requires adherence to MRI safety protocols, patient preparation, contrast administration, and meticulous documentation in EMR/PACS and related systems. ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials and BLS are required; on‑call shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Certificate/Degree from accredited Radiography or MRI programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic MRI images.
• Review patient chart and physician orders to determine optimal imaging parameters.
• Perform imaging studies using proper scanning techniques and protocols.
• Administer contrast media following department protocols.
• Verify pregnancy status and obtain consent as appropriate.
• Document data in EMR, PACS, and other hospital systems.
