Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, support radiologists, and ensure patient safety. You will perform image post-processing, manage imaging data in PACS, and administer MRI contrast under supervision.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and NMTCB credentials where applicable; prior radiology experience is preferred. The position is part of Dawson Supplemental Staff with on-site duties and variable hours.

Qualifications

  • ARRT certified radiologic technologist or equivalent.
  • BLS certification required.
  • NMTCB certification preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment and magnet, injectors, monitors, and cardiac gating equipment.
  • Adjust pulse sequences according to body part and diagnosis.
  • Send images to PACS for interpretation and perform post-processing as needed.
  • Administer MRI contrast agents following safety protocols.
  • Maintain daily safety and quality checks on the MRI system.
