Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Full-Time MRI Technologist for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO area). The role involves preparing patients, performing MRI exams, and ensuring safety. Eligible candidates may receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Prior MR experience is preferred and ARRT/ARMRIT credentials are encouraged.

The position requires an associate degree or higher and ARRT, MR, or RT(R) certification. On-site work with multiple local locations.

Position Details

• Day Shift: 3 Days per Week- Wed / Thurs / Fri (7am-7:30pm) with one night of call per week – get paid even if do not come in!
• MR Registered & MRI experience (preferred)
• Patient care, help with workflow of department, prepping patients for exams, MRI safety screenings, performing MRI exams
• Advanced Modality Technologist position
• Location is near: Alton, IL / Godfrey, IL/ Edwardsville, IL / Collinsville, IL / Granite City, IL/ Bridgeton, MO / Saint Ann, MO / Roxana, IL / Wood River, IL / Spanish Lake, MO / Bethalto, IL / Florissant, MO / Black Jack

Requirements

MRI at NWHC has a Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Symphony scanner. The procedure room has a large window making the room bright & has a very open feeling. MRI offers same day service.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
