Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist for our Michigan locations (Ann Arbor, Plymouth, Canton). This full-time role supports outpatient radiology services with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality images, coordinating with radiologists, and training new staff. Requirements include ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration, CPR, and a state license; preferred includes an Associate's degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Technologist by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety with pre-screening and aseptic technique.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport.
• Communicate with radiologists and train new technologists.
