Job summary

Overlake is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts and weekend coverage, with per diem availability for vacations and short-notice work.

The Bellevue campus will be the primary work location. The ideal candidate will have an accredited radiology program, ARRT registry, WA RT certification, and ARRT(MR) advanced registry within six months.

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree in Radiology or equivalent military/hospital radiology training.
• ARRT registry required upon hire.
• Washington State RT certification required upon hire with DOH verification.
• ARRT(MR) advanced registry required within 6 months.
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Hourly$55.94 - $83.91

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. This position will cover variable shifts, including weekend and/or night shifts up to 12 hours. Per diem technologists must have sufficient availability to be able to cover vacations as well asoccasional short notice shifts. This position will be locatedprimarily at the Bellevue campus.The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent critical thinking skills as well as the ability to multitask and work well in a team environment. Experience with Siemens equipment, including breast and cardiac imaging, is not required but will be preferred.

Qualifications:

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program required or have satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program
• ARRT(R) registry required upon hire.
• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required upon hire. Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
• ARRT(MR) advanced registry required within 6 months of employment as a MRI technologist
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience preferred
• Previous hospital experience preferred
