Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking an MRI Technologist II for a full-time night shift. You will perform MRI examinations and maintain safety within the MRI area, while explaining procedures to patients and ensuring proper documentation is completed.

The role includes schedule from 9 pm to 6:30 am, a sign-on bonus up to 30K, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MRI school/certificate program or 24-month radiologic technology program completed.
• CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT certification required; must obtain MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within two years of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year experience in Rad Tech position preferred (radiologic, nuclear medicine, mammography, or ultrasound).

Overview

Sentara is hiring a MRI Technologist II at the Sentara Northern Virginia Hospital in Woodbridge, Virginia.

This is a Full-Time, Night shift opportunity with great benefits.

The work schedule is Tuesday thru Friday from 9 pm to 6:30 am.

A sign-on bonus up to 30K is available to qualified candidates.

As a MRI Technologist , you will perform MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and the integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers. Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explain examination and procedure to patients, and complete departmental documentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of a 24-month program in radiologic technology in lieu of experience.
• CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT is required. Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within two years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions)
• BLS
• 1-year experience in a Rad Tech position including Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound preferred.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.24 - $61.82 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
