Four days off every week.
That's the first thing most MRI technologists notice about this position. Work Friday through Sunday nights and enjoy Monday through Thursday off, every week. Whether your priority is family, travel, outdoor recreation, continuing education, or simply more time to yourself, this schedule creates flexibility that's difficult to find in healthcare.
At PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington, you'll perform meaningful MRI work in a hospital environment where your expertise matters. Using Siemens technology, you'll combine technical skill, clinical judgment, and compassionate patient care to help clinicians answer critical diagnostic questions.
PeaceHealth is a Person-First, Value-Driven, Highly Trusted organization that understands exceptional patient care starts with supporting caregivers. If you're looking for a role that offers both professional fulfillment and more life outside of work, this one deserves a closer look.
You arrive as the evening winds down and prepare for a focused shift ahead.
You review prior imaging, patient history, and relevant clinical information. You help nervous patients feel at ease, adapt exams when circumstances change, and use your expertise to capture high-quality diagnostic images that help clinicians make important decisions.
You aren't simply following a checklist. You're applying critical thinking, technical skill, patient care, and clinical judgment throughout every shift.
Vancouver offers something many healthcare professionals spend years searching for: options.
You can enjoy a more manageable commute and lower congestion than many larger metro areas while remaining minutes from Portland. Spend your days off exploring the Columbia River waterfront, hiking nearby trails, visiting the Oregon coast, heading into the mountains, or simply enjoying the flexibility that comes with four consecutive weekdays off.
It's a community where many caregivers discover a better balance between career and personal life.
When your shift ends Sunday morning, your workweek ends with it. Four consecutive days away from the hospital creates space for the things that often get pushed aside, whether that's family time, travel, hobbies, or simply having time to recharge.
That's not a perk. That's a lifestyle.
