Job summary

New Solutions is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist for a full-time role in New York. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package with relocation assistance and a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities

• Complete MRI exams including patient history, tech info, contrast info, and IV injection details, and file paperwork in the system.
• Adhere to MRI safety policies for staff and patients.
• Follow patient identification policy and proper labeling procedures for syringes and contrast
• Set acquisition parameters for optimal image quality, evaluate images, and follow physicians' instructions.

MRI Technologist

Position Responsibilities:

• Completes all steps involved with the exams including Documentation of Patient History, Tech Info, Contrast Info, and IV Injection info. And scanning paperwork packs into the system.
• Follow all MRI safety policies consistently for staff and patients.
• Consistently follow patient identification policy: Labeling syringes when loading with date, time, contrast, and initials. Follow all P+P regarding use of ISTAT (Per sites worked)
• Demonstrate knowledge of MR department procedures and protocols by setting acquisition factors for optimal image quality, evaluating images for quality, and accurately following physicians instructions.

• Education: Minimum of Associates degree, Radiologic Sciences program. ARRT Certification in MRI.
• Licensure: ARRT credentials for Diagnostic Imaging and NYS license. Also must receive the enhanced NYS license for injection, on or before completion of introductory period.
• Experience: Preference of two years' experience, but new graduates welcomed.
