Job summary

BayCare Health System in Safety Harbor, FL, is seeking an MRI Technologist for a PRN, on-site position. You will perform diagnostic MRI procedures and manage imaging workflow with RIS data, while providing patient care and supporting physician needs.

Required credentials include ARRT in Radiology with MRI specialty, BLS, and an AS degree (or equivalent radiology/technical radiology education). Eligibility for transfer within BayCare is expected; on-call requirements apply.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (Radiology Technologist) – MRI specialty.
• Experience: 1 year MRI training or equivalent radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MR procedures.
• Manages RIS data and related imaging workflow.
• Assists physician, handles patient transport and clerical duties as needed.

Responsibilities - MRI Technologist:

• Performs diagnostic MR procedures.

• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.

• Other related duties as necessary.

Education:

• Required: Associate of Science degree.

• Or, Associates Radiology.

• Or, Technical Radiology.

Credentials:

• Required: BLS.

• Required: ARRT (Radiology Technologist) – Relevant Specialty.

• Or, ARMRIT (MRI) within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.

Experience:

• Required: Associate in science degree, 1 year of MRI specific training.

• Or, Associates in Radiology or Technical Radiology, 1 year of Radiology or MRI.
