Job summary

C002 Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) in New York is seeking an MRI technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations across all patient populations. The role includes a sign-on bonus of $10,000 and relocation assistance of up to $5,000.

The candidate should have graduated from an accredited radiologic technology school and ideally have up to 2 years of related experience. Certification from ARRT and ARMRIT is mandatory along with BLS certification.

This position is a regular employee role with scheduled hours of 40 per week.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of modality-specific work experience; at least 1 year of X-ray experience preferred.
• Must be registered with the ARRT and must obtain ARMRIT registration within 1 year if not registered.
• Required licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.

Job Description Summary

Sign‑on bonus of $10,000 and relocation bonus up to $5,000. Join our team at our downtown location. We are the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the Lowcountry.

Responsibilities

• Utilize all MRI resources to perform high‑quality MRI examinations on the entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality‑specific work experience; at least 1 year of X‑ray experience preferred.
• Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must be registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT); if not registered, must obtain within 1 year.
• Licensure: Required licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required – either certification from an American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
