Job description

Join to apply for the MRI Technologist role at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Under supervision of a radiologist and department leadership, competently performs imaging on a 1.5 T magnetic resonance imaging scanner. Responsible for scanning and preparing images for review per protocols in MRI. Must recognize cross-sectional anatomy, perform MRI’s, and inject contrast media where applicable. Ensures service excellence and complies with hospital policies. Uses RIS/PACS and HIS for recording patient exams and disseminating results.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certified in MRI
  • Recent hospital-related experience (up to one year)
  • Experience with Digital Imaging and PACS

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • ARRT (ARMRIT or CAMRT) MRI certification or within first year of employment
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
  • 24 ECE credits in two years for re-certification and licensure
  • 2 MRI Safety Credits annually

Pay Range = $31.71 - $46.88
