As an MRI Technologist, your responsibilities include ensuring patient safety and performing high-quality MR studies, either onsite or remotely. You will communicate effectively with Radiologists, team members, patients, and customers, especially in mobile environments. When needed, you will train and orient new technologists, Patient Coordinators, and MR Technologist Assistants.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring Patient Safety through pre-screening, aseptic techniques, and potentially overseeing remote MR Technologists Assistants.
• Producing high-quality diagnostic images and operating multiple MR systems if required.
• Using all communication channels to address concerns, solve problems, and manage conflicts.
• Communicating effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Training and orienting new staff members onsite and/or remotely.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMDS.
• MR registered technologist (R.T. (MR) ARRT or ARMRIT). Technologists with MR Technologist Assistant oversight must be MR registered. ARMRIT certification is accepted as per customer contract. If billing Medicare, registry in Magnetic Resonance is required.
• 3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience or enrollment in an accredited MRI training program for over 6 months.
• State license as applicable.
• CPR Certification, BLS upon hire, ACLS within 90 days if applicable.
• Active State Driver’s License if performing mid-day moves.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
• Local travel may be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• One year of MRI experience.
• Registry in Magnetic Resonance by ARRT.

Physical Requirements:

Exposure to outside weather, strong magnetic fields, blood/body fluids, environmental hazards, and travel may occur. Tasks include sitting, standing, walking, repetitive movements, communication with patients, and moving non-ambulatory patients.
