Job summary

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI, radiographic and related procedures. The role requires independent judgment, the ability to work across modalities, and collaboration with the Radiology team.

Candidates should hold ARRT-MR and ARRT-R certifications, with BLS within 30 days of start. Experience in MRI and Radiography is required, with optional OR/invasive area exposure. Join a hospital focused on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in MRI/Radiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Produces MRI exams and images in line with established standards.
• Positions, transfers and provides immobilization assistance as required.
• Assists in specialty areas (eg. O.R., Invasive) as needed.
• Performs radiographic procedures in addition to MRI as part of workflow.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The MRI Tech performs MRI, radiographic and special procedures at level not requiring supervision of technical detail, performing a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.

• The MRI Tech must be able to assists in specialty areas (ie. O.R., Invasive.)
• Is capable of assuming full responsibility for one or more modalities in MRI and Radiology
• Produces MRI exams and images, as well as radiographs in accordance with established standards.
• Positions, transfers and provides immobilization assistance as required.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
