Job summary

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI and related radiology procedures with independence and professional judgment.

The role requires ARRT MR and radiography credentials, BLS, and at least one year of experience; you will join a team dedicated to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR certification required.
• ARRT-R radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• 1 year of MRI/Radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce MRI exams and images per established standards.
• Perform radiographic procedures as assigned.
• Position, transfer and provide immobilization as needed.
• Assist in specialty areas (OR, invasive) as required.
• Take responsibility for one or more modalities in MRI and Radiology.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Tech performs MRI, radiographic and special procedures at level not requiring supervision of technical detail, performing a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.

• The MRI Tech must be able to assists in specialty areas (ie. O.R., Invasive.)
• Is capable of assuming full responsibility for one or more modalities in MRI and Radiology
• Produces MRI exams and images, as well as radiographs in accordance with established standards.
• Positions, transfers and provides immobilization assistance as required.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
