Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist in Ontario, Oregon, to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety. Candidates should have an ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, and BLS certification. The ideal applicant is passionate about patient care and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. When you join us as an MRI Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrate competency regarding the safeguarding of patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
