Job summary

Hmixray in Modesto, CA is hiring an MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety. You will administer contrast as needed and adjust imaging parameters to produce superior images while guiding patients confidently through the exam.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license if applicable, and a current BLS certification. Minimum one year of imaging experience is preferred, with benefits including comprehensive medical/dental/vision, HSA,

Qualifications

• Certification as MR radiographer required or ARMRIT alternative.
• Active state license for radiologic technology where applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Venipuncture certification may be required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Ensure patient safety by following policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast safely when needed.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle and other imaging parameters for quality scans.
• Educate and reassure patients throughout the exam process.
• Address physician questions and patient needs regarding exams.

You Will

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes‑difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Rate: $38.00 - $58.00 / Per Hour
