Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in Meridian, Idaho. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and closely follow protocols to deliver accurate, patient-centered imaging services.

Join a collaborative environment where cross-training and professional advancement are encouraged. ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification and an active state license are required, with BLS and venipuncture credentials often preferred.

Qualifications

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
  • State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology is required where applicable.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Adjust MRI parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV) to optimize images.
  • Guide patients through the exam process and answer questions.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Safeguard patient health information and site medications.
  • Safeguards on-site medications in accordance with policies and law.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
  • Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will
  • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on‑site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
  • Must have BLS certification.
  • A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $34.00-$50.00 Per Hour
