Job summary

Sentara Norfolk is seeking an MRI Imaging Technologist to provide high-quality MRI examinations under supervision, including contrast administration per protocol and safety screening review. You will evaluate implants, coordinate with physicians, and maintain patient records and imaging quality for interpretation.

Responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients, completing documentation, and adhering to MRI safety zones and regulations.

Qualifications

• ALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade school certification.
• ARRT certification is required.
• 1 year x-ray experience to cross train.
• Knowledge of MRI safety zones and regulations.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $39.51 - $58.51 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
