Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in Montclair, New Jersey is seeking an experienced MRI Technician to perform high-quality MRI exams. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, administering contrast, and guiding patients through the examination process. Candidates must have ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license if applicable, and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience. The position offers comprehensive medical benefits and a pay range of $32.00 - $55.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Job description
Responsibilities
Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
Safeguards any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

Required Certifications and Qualifications
