Work Location: On-site at Maryland, Virginia, or DC locations including Germantown, Bethesda, Bel Air, Greenbelt, Salisbury, Olney, Chevy Chase, Potomac, Berlin, Sterling, Foxhall, K street, or Fairfax.
Work Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, depending on business needs.

A Day in the Life of an MRI Technologist
- Perform MRI procedures as prescribed by a physician.
- Produce high-quality MRI images remotely with assistance from an MRI Tech Aide.
- Ensure proper patient follow-up and release.
- Monitor patient well-being during scans and recognize medical issues.
- Handle emergency situations, including magnetic field shutdown if necessary.
- Instruct patients on physiological requirements and check for contraindications.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, position them, administer contrast, and assist at the end.
- Ensure all consent forms are signed.
- Accurately process exam information and maintain a safe work environment.
- Recognize reactions to contrast media and administer CPR if needed.
- Follow policies and report equipment issues.
- Promote teamwork and confidentiality.
Additional Responsibilities
- Administer gadolinium to patients.
- Assist in clerical tasks and manage patient records.
- Perform maintenance and participate in quality assurance.
- Seek professional development and improve skills.
- Perform or assist with other medical procedures as directed.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and training in imaging technology.
- Registered in MRI within one year of employment.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- CPR certification within 90 days of employment, renewed annually.
- State licensure for Maryland and Virginia offices.
- Ability to lift and move patients.
