Baptist Health Imaging is seeking an MRI Tech for all shifts, full-time or PRN status. The role involves performing MRI procedures, processing images, and coordinating with radiologists to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology or magnetic resonance imaging.
• Current Advanced ARRT or ARMRIT Registry Required in MRI or eligible and obtain advanced registry within one year of hire date.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs magnetic resonance procedures and related imaging techniques for diagnostic interpretation.
• Produces images for radiologist or licensed practitioner review and participates in an on-call schedule.
• Exercises professional judgment and ensures patient safety and ethical care.

Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. Job Description:

Provides health care services applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.

Participates in an on-call schedule as required. Performs magnetic resonance procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner.

Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.

Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements:

Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology or magnetic resonance imaging

Current BLS Certification

One year of related experience
