Job summary

Baptist Health Imaging in Lexington is seeking an MRI Technologist for all shifts on a full‑time and PRN basis. The role involves performing MRI procedures, maintaining image quality, and participating in on‑call schedules, with collaboration across radiology and oncology teams.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited MRI program, ARRT/ARMRIT eligibility or certification, and BLS. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified individuals. Baptist Health is an equal opportunity employer.

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology or magnetic resonance imaging
• Current Advanced ARRT or ARMRIT Registry Required in MRI or eligible and obtain advanced registry within one year of hire date
• Current BLS Certification
• One year of related experience

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment
• Participates in an on‑call schedule as required
• Performs magnetic resonance procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a Radiologist or licensed independent practitioner
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics

Job Description

Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology or magnetic resonance imaging
• Current Advanced ARRT or ARMRIT Registry Required in MRI or eligible and obtain advanced registry within one (1) year of hire date
• Current BLS Certification
• One year of related experience
