A leading healthcare provider in Minnesota is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scanning procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols. The ideal candidate will have ARRT registration and MRI certification, along with experience in neurologic conditions. The MRI Technologist performs MRI scanning procedures to meet patient and physician needs. Follows standardized MRI scanning protocols to ensure highest level of quality and safety is provided for each patient. Performs venipuncture techniques as appropriate for specific scans. Communicates patient information to radiologist in a timely manner, including any deviations from standardized protocols or technical components. Documents all patient incidents and/or concerns with scanning process. Works with MRI Patient Care Coordinators and radiologists to obtain prior comparisons prior to the scanning process, if needed. Performs billing and registration duties related to MRI scanning. Preps MRI schedules for final details prior to scanning. Reconciles imported patient exams in AMICAS PACS. Performs daily checks to ensure patient safety and cleanliness of MRI trailers.
ARRT registration plus MRI certification.
At least two years of experience as MRI Technologist; familiarity with neurologic conditions highly desired.
Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills. Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in decision-making. Must be willing to travel to MCN's five metro-area locations.
