UnityPoint Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI and X-ray exams under radiologist supervision. You will provide compassionate patient care, operate MRI/X-ray equipment, and participate in on-call rotations after hours, including some weekends and holidays.
The role requires ARRT registration, MRI-specific certification, and CPR, with a full-time schedule 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, plus call rotations.
$10,000 Sign on Bonus for full-time! Up to $10,000 in Relocation Support if relocating 50+ miles!
Full-time 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, one weekday call rotation every other week, one weekend call rotation every tenth week. Holiday rotation.
The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI and X-ray exams (based on department needs) under the direction of a radiologist. The MRI Technologist provides compassionate direct patient care with an emphasis on maintaining organizational values and standards of behavior. The MRI Technologist operates MRI and X-ray equipment (if applicable) to produce diagnostic images of designated portions of the body utilizing various pulse sequences and surface coils. The MRI Technologist is required to participate in an on-call rotation outside of business hours based on department needs and must be able to work some weekends and holidays.

EDUCATION: Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. ARRT Registered. Maintain yearly CEU requirements. Must be able to read, speak and write fluent English.
EXPERIENCE: MRI experience preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist. ARRT MRI Board Registered. Current Iowa Permit to Practice preferred. CPR certified.
