Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and provide leadership and technical support to the imaging team.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and service quality, with opportunities to cross-train into MRI even if no prior MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• Current ARRT radiology certification required.
• If ARRT(R), MR certification must be completed within 1 year of hire.

Position Summary

Operates MRI scanner to produce images of the patient’s body for diagnostic purposes. Provide leadership and technical support to MRI services, assuring that services are provided within professional standards and with excellent customer service. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. Willing to cross train into MRI with no MRI experience.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program

Licensure: If graduate of MRI Technology Program, Current certification in Radiology with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. If ARRT(R), certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT(MR) is required to be completed within 1 year of hire.
