Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Alabama seeks an MRI Technologist to operate the MRI scanner and produce diagnostic images. You will provide leadership and technical support to MRI services and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

No MRI experience? we value willingness to cross-train and support in building a skilled, compassionate team. Education and ARRT certification requirements apply with timely MR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• Current ARRT Radiology certification; ARRT(MR) within 1 year if MR track.
• Willing to cross-train into MRI with no prior MRI experience.

Position Summary:

Operates MRI scanner to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Provide leadership and technical support to MRI services, assuring that services are provided within professional standards and with excellent customer service. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. Willing to cross train into MRI with no MRI experience.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program

Licensure: If graduate of MRI Technology Program, Current certification in Radiology with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. If ARRT(R), certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT(MR) is required to be completed withing 1 year of hire.
