Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Charlotte, NC is seeking a MRI Technologist for PRN coverage. You will prepare patients, position them for MRI, and safely operate the MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

Qualified candidates will be ARRT-certified in MR, have ARRT radiography program, state license if required, and demonstrate strong communication. We offer competitive benefits, no overnight shifts, and opportunities for cross training.

What You'll Do

The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
