License and Certification Requirements

• License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
• Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  
  

Education and Experience

• Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
• Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited Institution and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
• Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as an MRI Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement.
  
  

Notes

• As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title.
• Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 Years' MRI experience
• Recent GE scanner experience
• ARRT Certification MRI/CT
• IV Certification
• One year experience working in a hospital
• Have preformed brain, spine, body MRI exams
• Have at least 3 years CT experience
