Role Description

The MRI Technologist is a full-time, on-site role located in Atlanta, GA. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients’ internal structures. Daily tasks include positioning patients, monitoring them during the scan, ensuring the quality of images, maintaining patient records, explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The MRI Technologist will also collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide necessary treatment. Consistent communication and compassion are key components of this role, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Qualifications

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Medical Imaging
  • Knowledge of Radiology and related medical fields
  • Strong understanding of MRI equipment operation and safety protocols
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred
