Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing all aspects of MR imaging accurately and in accordance with established procedures and policies to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all groups. This includes following all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions. The technologist maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. They contribute to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information, processing images, ensuring correct images, accurate billing, and file documentation, and recording information related to exams into the department computer system. When not engaged in imaging activities, they support clinical team members with other activities.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification required.
• Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintained current.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations as assigned.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation, with an estimated rate of $55.00 per hour for this role in California. The actual starting salary will be determined at hire, considering factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
