Qualifications

• ARRT MR registry within 1 year of hire/transfer is required.
• Graduate from an ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB accredited program.
• Associate's degree preferred in a related radiology field.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images for physicians.
• Reviews patient history and physician orders to plan exams.
• Educates patients about procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media when within scope.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes as needed.
• Prepares equipment, maintains safety standards, and performs QA.
• Troubleshoots hardware issues and reports malfunctions.
• Positions patient and performs imaging; analyzes image quality.
• Enters and reports scan results to the radiology system.
