Job summary

North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an MRI Technician to join our Radiology team on a full-time day shift. You will operate the MRI scanner, ensure image quality, and support physicians with diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology or MR.
• 1 year of experience in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or CT preferred.
• ARRT Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images.
• Educates patients about procedures to ensure cooperation.
• Administers contrast media when ordered and within scope.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes.
• Analyzes images and adjusts parameters for quality.
