Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MR examinations under Radiologist supervision. You will image anatomical and physiologic conditions to aid in diagnosis while delivering patient care to neonates, children, adults and seniors.

Minimum requirements include AMA/JRCERT education, ARRT radiography registration and BLS certification; 6 months MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations under the guidance of the Radiologist.
• Image anatomic and physiologic conditions to assist physicians in diagnosing disease.
• Provide patient care across all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None
6 months as an MRI Technologists preferred.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
