Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. You will venipuncture when indicated and assist the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

The role requires MQSA-compliant education, ARRT MRT (or ARMRIT) certification, BLS, and about one year of experience; PRN hours ensure flexible scheduling in a high-volume, Magnet-designated hospital.

Qualifications

• MQSA guidelines compliant radiologic technologist training.
• Certification requirements: ARRT (M) MRT or ARMRIT and Texas DS Health certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging.
• Assist Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases and venipuncture when indicated.
• Collaborate with team to ensure patient safety and quality imaging.

Education

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines

Licenses And/or Certifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification, ARRT (M) combined with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT), or ARMRIT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year work experience, preferred
