Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will collaborate with radiologists and physicians to support accurate diagnosis across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role requires completion of an accredited training program and current ARRT or ARMRIT certification, with BLS and a preference for at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

Completion of Accredited Training Program.
Current certification through ARRT or ARMRIT.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Minimum of one (1) year of radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
Ensure patient safety, comfort and confidentiality while operating MRI equipment.
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to support accurate diagnosis.
Provide services in both hospital and outpatient diagnostic settings.

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images used in the evaluation of medical conditions. The MRI Technologist collaborates with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning across both hospital and outpatient diagnostic settings. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
