Job summary

Scripps La Jolla Hospital Imaging is hiring for a part-time MRI technologist to join the team providing patient-centered imaging services. The role includes 8-hour varied day shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays, and participation in an on-call rotation.

This is a part-time position (48 hours per pay period) with 8-hour varied day shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays. The role also includes participation in an on-call rotation.

This position requires reporting to both Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and AMP.

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
• Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
• Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of MRI experience
• Cardiac and Breast experience
• Experience with Siemens scanners
